We have just concluded our 4-day summer sports fest which came as a surprise to us teachers. Teachers from all levels and 4 branches of OBMCI were grouped into 4 teams... red, yellow, blue and green.. And I'm happy to be a part of the green team. Though I had to buy green shirts coz it's not a usual color in my wardrobe.. hahaha... you know what color i have the most in my closet if you really know me.
I was a part of the volleyball team and I'm so happy to be given the chance to play my favorite sports. I was so nervous at first, but we all got along well and were unbeatable as a team. I had my share of missed shots and great moments but what mattered more is the teamwork we had that led us to our victory. Not only did our team was the champion in volleyball.. we also took the 2nd place in cheering competition (it was a bit sad though that volleyball players were not allowed to join, but it was fine since everyone else got to participate). And also, our team was the champion in basketball. We were all so happy about what we were able to achieve.. THE OVER-ALL CHAMPION! But most of all, I'm happy for the opportunity to know more teachers from other departments and bond with them.
We are going to have a simple victory party on Friday, June 6, 2008 with the cash prize we won and we are all looking forward to that.
